Hi! My name is Larenn Watson, and I currently teach Grades 7-12 English Language Arts here at Dr. Folkins. I grew up on my family's farm near Barrhead, AB, but moved here "out east" after university with my husband Wyatt, so we could both start our teaching careers with BTPS. I have been fortunate enough to teach in our division since 2015 - holding a few different teaching roles at a few different schools, (I've taught every grade from K-12 in some capacity or another!) and I could not be happier to have found my place here at DFCS. In my role here, I hope to share my love of learning, and help to create a community that values the diverse strengths and interests of all our students. In addition to teaching, I also coach Jr. Girls Volleyball & Curling. Go Cavs!!
