DFCS Family Literacy Day

We are excited to invite you to join us for DFCS Family Literacy Day, a special event to celebrate and encourage a love of reading in our school community. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your child while fostering a passion for books and learning.

When: January 27, 2025
Time: Reading begins at 11:30 AM, followed by lunch
Where: DFCS

Bring a book from home or enjoy reading something your child has borrowed from our library. During this time, you can choose to read to your child, read together, or listen to your child read to you. It’s a warm and engaging way to connect and share in their love of stories and learning.

Bring a lunch! After the reading session, you are welcome to stay and enjoy lunch with your child. This is a perfect chance to continue the conversation and make memories together.
